Move public folder to some other  public folder on same server?
Hi I have single exchange mailbox server and want to move one public folder (with its all children) to some other public folder on the same server. For instance: I have this PF Sales and its identiy is "\OldCompany\Sales\" Sales contains 5 Calendar public folders i.e \OldCompany\Sales\Calendar1 \OldCompany\Sales\Calendar2 etc. and want to baically move \Sales and all its children to \NewComapany. So what I need is to change the company of public folders ( \Sales and its children), so that their new identities would be: '\NewCompany\Sales\Calendar1' '\NewCompany\Sales\Calendar2' etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards, David Johnson

If you want to simply create new folders and move the child foldes, that is easy enough. You can do that in Outlook. Create the "New Company" pf, then in Outlook copy all those folders under the Old Compnay folder to the New Company folder. You can then delete the Old Compnay folder and its children.

Hi, Thanks Andy. This seems great. I will try it soon, and will post the result here.Regards, David Johnson
